Kavya Himalayas Embraces Indian Market to Boost Wellness Tourism
In just a year since its opening, Kavya Himalayas has transformed Nagarkot into a sought-after multi-night destination for travellers from Kathmandu. The resort offers only suites and villas, ensuring guests experience luxury in every aspect of their stay, according to Hitesh Golcha, Managing Director of Leaf Hospitality.
Kavya Himalayas introduces luxury wellness experiences in Nepal, offering meditation, yoga, and Ayurveda in a lavish setting, a first for the country. Accommodation options range from spacious suites to one- and two-bedroom villas, providing a unique stay experience. Situated just 45 minutes from Kathmandu International Airport, Kavya Himalayas in Nagarkot becomes more than just a one-night stop. Golcha notes that first-time visitors often extend their stay to 5-7 nights to fully immerse themselves in the resort’s offerings. Meanwhile, you can book international flights from USA to India with us. AirfareBooking makes it easy to plan your journey from the comfort of your home.
Multiple source marketplaces and segments
India remains one of the main markets, but Kavya is creating a lot of buzz in other global markets as well, like Dubai, Europe, Japan, and even the US.
Golcha claims his ideal client or target market is the businesswoman who does not have time for herself, but Kavya is claimed to serve all types of tourists. We also offer Last Minute Flights from USA to India at Airfarebooking. “So it’s just a slow-time attribute. It is where you can connect with yourself. Kavya denotes lyrical inspiration. Thus, it is a place where you may come, practice meditation, and acquire tools that you can bring with you. You can also study yoga-based meditation techniques there. Our sole goal is to inspire people to be the finest versions of themselves,” adds Golcha.
Kavya also provides cultural excursions for families and groups who want to stay together. Another category that is responding well to Kavya is small business groups holding strategy or board meetings, but not larger gatherings such as sales meetings due to Kavya’s limited inventory.
What we do is use a template that we’ve made, putting them through bonding activities that push them beyond their comfort zones before giving them time for their meeting. As a result, the effectiveness of these gatherings has reached new heights. Golcha describes these events as typically lasting two or three nights.
Kavya now has 24 rooms, with another 12 under development. When these are completed, Kavya will have 38 or 39 rooms, including suites, one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas. Also, check out affordable flight tickets to India from Canada only on Airfarebooking.ca.
“The DNA of Sustainability”
According to Golcha, sustainability is much more than simply a catchphrase for the Kavya Himalayas. “For us in Nepal, and especially in Kavya, sustainability is in our DNA. For example, we did not tear up the slopes to begin with, and we built all of our villas on natural terraces. “It is one thing to call out sustainability and another to be sustainable,” he explains.
Golcha uses the resort’s construction and design to demonstrate that sustainability has been a key consideration since the design stage. “The property’s design requires virtually minimal air conditioning. Of course, we need some heating in the winter, but very little air conditioning. So it’s almost as if you’re living outdoors. There is no plastic since all of the water is contained within the house; we have mineral water. So there are practical sustainability concepts,” he says.
While solar power is not a practical choice as a power source for the resort due to its height and location in the Himalayas, it is promoting sustainability wherever possible. “We cultivate all of our vegetables from farm to fork because our resort has extensive organic farming. There are no chemicals, insecticides, or pesticides used on the farm. Also, all of our vehicles are electric, including all-electric go-karts used to transport visitors on the site. So, from that standpoint, it’s all about sustainability,” Golcha explains. Additionally, you can book business class tickets through Airfarebooking for a smooth trip.
