How To Plan Your Goa Trip Effortlessly?
How to get from and to the airport (GOI and GOX)?
Since Goa has 2 airports, let’s begin with the main airport – Dabolim Airport. The best way to travel to and from this airport is to either take a taxi, through which you can reach Panaji city centre within 45 minutes, or book yourself a transfer if you want private transportation.
You can also take the shuttle bus that goes between Calangute, Panaji and Goa Airport, but you should know that it only has 2 trips set for the entire day.
The same goes for GOX – Manohar International Airport, except you will get buses operated by the Kadamba Transport Corporation from Mapusa, Panaji and Margao instead of shuttle services. Since the airport is newly constructed, cabs from Uber and Ola are unavailable at the moment.
How to get around the place?
The best way to get around is by renting a bike or scooter. The rent starts from Rs. 350 per day for a scooter and you can get petrol at small roadside shops as petrol stations are hard to come by in coastal areas. Get a discount if you are renting for more than a month and don’ forget to carry your International Driving Permit everywhere with you along with your regular driving license.
Buses are the cheapest way to go around the place and it will only cost about Rs. 15 for a 40 km ride. You can travel by taxis but there are no Ola or Uber cabs available. And you can also rent cars with either a driver or you can drive yourself. So go check out affordable business class travel deals on Airfare Booking and arrive in Goa in style!
